A Celebration of Cold Beer, Good Food and Great Music

John Mayall to headline Snowshoes Blues, Brews & BBQ

 Snowshoe, W.V. (August 2, 2012) –Snowshoe Mountain Resort is buzzing with excitement preparing for the annual Blues, Brews and BBQ festival. The festival will include tastings from local breweries including Bridge Brew Works, North End Tavern, Mountain State Brewery and distributors offering domestic and International brews. Snowshoe’s top chefs will be using local recipes to create finger licking BBQ through the day leading up to the BBQ dinner. This year’s event is taken to a whole new level with special guest John Mayall making this a true blues festival. John Mayall will take the stage with opening act Elliot and the Untouchables, Saturday August 11th at 7:00pm.

The event will be packed with live music presented on the Village stage, while Village and mountain activities will be open including Snowshoe’s nationally recognized downhill mountain bike park. Phil Duncan of Snowshoe Mountain says, “Each year this is one of my favorite events; a great day to get out and enjoy what the mountain has to offer.” The event will kick off on Friday August 10th with a Village block party.
